I often find myself completely lost in almost every aspect of concept development, world-building, and character design. I love to discuss as many things as possible and I really enjoy combining various forms of media, as it not only stimulates myself but also makes my work more diverse and innovative.
This variety makes me quite ambitious. My hands start itching quickly and as a true perfectionist, I put love into every detail. Besides being my own boss, I also enjoy bringing people together: I love brainstorming with others and I’m always happy to offer guidance to those who need it.
In my creative process I always follow my intuition, which results in my body of work being quite varied in subject and theme. Nevertheless, you’ll notice that my work is often predominantly fictional, cheerful, and light-hearted, while trying to open doors to other dreamlike worlds. These are often an eclectic mix of Eastern influences, mystery, sometimes childlike accessibility, and an exploration of human emotions.
I hope I can always entertain people with my work and provide an escape for those who — like me — occasionally want to get away from this big bad world. The desire to feel at home in a world that’s different from ours will always linger in me.
